1. The service
Ayklo is operated by Ayklo Limited (“Ayklo”, “we”, “us”, “our”). These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern access to and use of the Ayklo web application and this website, ayklo.com (together, the “Service”). They apply to the customer organisation for which Ayklo has created an account (“your organisation”) and to every person who uses the Service on its behalf (“you”). By signing in to or using the Service you agree to these Terms. If your organisation has signed a separate service agreement with Ayklo, that agreement prevails where it conflicts with these Terms.
Ayklo is a reporting assistant for advertisers: your organisation connects its Google Ads, Google Analytics and Meta Ads accounts, and its team asks questions about advertising and website performance in a chat interface. Ayklo reads data from those accounts to answer the questions and to show performance reports. The Service is read-only by design. It never creates, edits, pauses or deletes campaigns, ads, budgets, audiences or any other setting in a connected account, and it does not buy or place advertising.
2. Accounts
Ayklo has no self-service sign-up. We create accounts for a customer organisation under a service agreement, and the organisation decides which of its people may use them and which advertising and analytics accounts they may connect.
Your organisation, and everyone who uses its account, must:
- use the Service only for the organisation's business purposes, and only through people aged 18 or over whom the organisation has authorised;
- keep sign-in details confidential and share them only with those authorised people;
- change the password without delay when someone should no longer have access — changing it signs out every existing session — or ask us to reset it;
- tell us promptly, using the details in section 10, if they suspect that the account or a connected platform account has been accessed without authorisation.
Your organisation is responsible for all activity under its account and for making sure that everyone who uses it complies with these Terms.
3. Connecting Google and Meta accounts
You connect Google Ads, Google Analytics and Meta Ads accounts through each platform's own authorisation screen, and Ayklo then reads data from them through the platforms' official APIs. Ayklo uses the access you grant only to read data. It requests read-only access to Google Analytics and only the ads_read permission for Meta; the Google Ads API offers a single access scope, which Ayklo uses solely to read reporting data.
By connecting an account, you confirm that:
- you own the account, or are authorised by its owner to connect it to Ayklo and to let the people in your organisation view its data — for example, as an agency acting for an advertiser under an agreement that allows this;
- you have agreed to, and will continue to comply with, the terms that govern your use of each platform, including, for Meta, the Meta Terms of Service, the Meta Advertising Standards, the Meta Commercial Terms and the Self-Serve Ads Terms.
Our access to these platforms is governed by the Google APIs Terms of Service, the Google Ads API Terms and Conditions and the Google API Services User Data Policy, and by the Meta Platform Terms and the Meta Developer Policies. You must comply with applicable law and must not use the Service, or any data obtained through it, in a way that would violate those terms or cause us to violate them. In particular, with data obtained from Meta through Ayklo you must not:
- sell or license it;
- use it to make eligibility decisions about people, for example for housing, employment, insurance, education, credit, government benefits or immigration status;
- use it to discriminate against people on the basis of personal attributes such as race, ethnicity, religion, age, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, disability or health, or for surveillance;
- use it to build or augment profiles of individual people, or to retarget people on or off Meta;
- attempt to re-identify, de-anonymise, decode or reverse-engineer it;
- use it for any purpose other than optimising or measuring the performance of the Meta campaigns of the advertiser that owns the ad account, or mix it with advertising campaigns on other platforms;
- give anyone access to it other than the advertiser that owns the ad account or people acting on the advertiser's behalf.
You can disconnect a platform in Ayklo, or revoke Ayklo's access at the platform, at any time, as described in section 11 of our Privacy Policy. The Service relies on these platforms: if a platform changes or limits its API, or a connection expires or is revoked, some answers or reports may be unavailable until the account is reconnected.
Google Ads and Google Analytics are trademarks of Google LLC, and Meta is a trademark of Meta Platforms, Inc. Ayklo is an independent service and is not operated, sponsored or endorsed by Google or Meta.
4. Your data and privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store and protect information when you use the Service, including the data we read from your connected Google and Meta accounts. Please read it alongside these Terms.
Your organisation keeps all rights in the data in its connected accounts and in the questions its team asks, and may use the answers Ayklo generates for it for its own business purposes. It permits us to process that data only as needed to provide the Service to it, on its instructions and as described in the Privacy Policy. We do not sell it, use it for advertising, combine it with other customers' data or use it to train AI models.
5. AI-generated answers
Ayklo generates answers with large language models, using the data it retrieves from your connected accounts when you ask a question (see section 7 of our Privacy Policy). Figures come from the platforms' own reporting, but an answer may contain errors or omissions: it may misread a question, use a different date range, attribution setting or currency than you intended, or round values. Figures can also differ from those in a platform's own interface because of time zones, attribution windows or data the platform is still processing.
Check before you act. Before making a budget, bidding, financial or other important decision, verify the figures it depends on in the platform's own interface — Google Ads, Google Analytics or Meta Ads Manager.
Answers are provided for information only and are not financial, legal, tax or other professional advice. You are responsible for the decisions you make using them.
6. Acceptable use
You must not, and must not help or allow anyone else to:
- use the Service in breach of applicable law or these Terms, or for any fraudulent, deceptive or harmful purpose;
- connect an account, or access data, that you are not authorised to access;
- try to access another customer's account or data, or probe, scan or test the Service for vulnerabilities without our written permission;
- bypass or interfere with the Service's security measures, usage limits or safeguards, including by trying to make the assistant reveal or ignore its instructions;
- access the Service with bots, scripts or other automated means, or place an unreasonable load on it, other than through features we provide;
- copy, modify, decompile or reverse-engineer the Service, except where the law allows this despite this restriction;
- resell or sublicense the Service, or give third parties access to it, except as your organisation's service agreement allows;
- enter content that is unlawful, infringes anyone's rights or contains malicious code.
We may investigate suspected breaches of this section and act on them as described in section 7.
7. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or restrict access to the Service, or to a platform connection, if we reasonably believe that it is being used in breach of these Terms; that this is necessary to protect the Service, other customers or a connected account; that the law or a platform such as Google or Meta requires it; or that your organisation has not met its obligations under its service agreement. Where it is lawful and practical, we will tell your organisation why, and restore access once the issue is resolved.
Your organisation may stop using the Service at any time, subject to its service agreement. We may close its account when that agreement ends, or after a serious or repeated breach of these Terms. When an account is closed, its tokens and platform connections are deleted, and the rest of its data is retained and deleted as set out in section 10 of our Privacy Policy.
The restrictions in section 3 on data obtained from Meta, and sections 4, 5 and 8, continue to apply after the Service ends for your organisation.
8. Limitation of liability
We work to keep the Service accurate, secure and available, but we provide it “as is” and “as available”. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we give no warranty that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that answers or the data supplied by the platforms will be accurate, complete or fit for a particular purpose.
To the fullest extent permitted by law:
- we are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, or for any loss of profits, revenue, advertising spend, data, goodwill or business opportunities;
- we are not liable for decisions made on the basis of answers that were not verified as described in section 5, or for the availability, accuracy or content of the platforms' own services;
- our total liability arising out of or in connection with the Service is limited to the fees your organisation paid for the Service in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited by law, such as liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
9. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time, for example to reflect changes to the Service, to the platforms' terms or to the law. The effective date at the top of the page shows when they were last changed. If a change materially affects your organisation's rights or obligations, we will notify your organisation before it takes effect. Continued use of Ayklo after that date means the updated Terms apply.
